Real life taking precedence, my mom was in the hospital for diabetes related issues....I had to leave last Saturday to travel down to her in Florida to make sure she pulled through this episode....It's so important that a cure for this disease is found. Her bruise from a fall on her leg (caused by diabetic neuropathy in her legs) ended up with three surgeries and breathing problems exacerbated by her COPD...... and the fact that diabetics get wounds that may or may not heal.
